How to Uninstall Joomla Template

In this example, we are going to uninstall the GK_Music_Free template, which we have installed in the previous template installation tutorial.

  1. Login to your Joomla Administrator dashboard and click on Extensions → Manage → Manage




  1. Type your template name into the search box and hit the enter button. Example: music




  1. Tick the box and click on the Uninstall button to complete the template removal process.


  1. You shall see the message "Uninstalling the template was successful."
