How to Set the Correct Timezone for Your Joomla
Login to your Joomla Administrator dashboard and click on System → Global Configuration

At the Global Configuration page, click on Server tab and then scroll down and look for Location Settings.

Click on the drop down box and search for your desired timezone e.g. Kuala Lumpur. Next press the Save & Close button to confirm changes.
