How to Edit Your Store Title and Meta Description
Having a proper meta title and description for your site is also an important SEO factor other than having an SEFs enabled URL.
Right after you install your Magento application, the store will have some sample content for title and description.
Login to your Magento administrator dashboard and click on Content menu on the left sidebar. Click on Configuration under the Design section.
Click on the Edit button next to your theme to open up the available options.
Then scroll down and expand the HTML Head options.
Enter the Meta Title and Description for your Magento website store.
Press the Save Configuration button at the top right corner in order to save your changes.
