What is a Cronjob?

Cronjobs are scheduled jobs that need to be executed by the crond daemon. The jobs are held in what is known as a crontab and it allows for commands to be run through out the hour, day, week, month or year. Fore more information about cronjobs and crond in general please see the below link.
