How to Manage Attributes Inside WooCommerce

WooCommerce product attributes let you to define additional product data such as color or size.

Step 1: Adding New Attributes

You can add your product tags by going to Product > Attributes as shown below

You can add attributes here as shown below. In our example, we are going to create " Colour " :

Name: Name of the attribute.
Slug: Add your slug here. Make sure your attribute is shorter than 28 characters.
Enable Archives: Enable this option if you want this attribute to have product archives in your store.
Default Sort Order: With this option, you can sort the order of the content on the product pages. For the drop down menu, you can see the three options (Name, Name numeric, Term ID). You can drag and drop the terms in this attribute.

Once you're done, click the Add Attribute button. Next, you need to click on the Configure term link on the right to insert your colour list. Example as shown below.

Now insert your favourite product colour. Here's our example for Product Colour e.g. Orange:

Press the Add new Colour button to finalize changes.

Repeat the same step again and add new colour e.g. Blue. Once you pressed the Add new Colour button, you shall see that your latest colour e.g. Blue has been included inside the Colour table (on the right)

Step 2: Deleting New Attributes

You can also choose to delete the existing attributes by hovering your mouse over to the name of the attribute e.g. Blue and click on the Delete link as shown below:

This will prompt a confirmation window where you will be able to confirm the deletion and after a second the attribute (e.g. Blue) will be deleted.

NOTE: YOU CAN INSERT THE SIZE ATTRIBUTE BY PERFORMING THE SAME STEPS AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING.
