How to View the Source of a Message in Mozilla Thunderbird (Without Opening the Email)
To display the source of a message in Mozilla Thunderbird. please perform the following simple steps:
Open your Thunderbird and click by highlighting the target email inside your message list.
Click the Menu item as highlighted (or press Alt button on your keyboard if your menu bar is hidden) before selecting View > Message Source from the menu.
You shall see the entire message source immediately.
