How to set Active Mode in Filezilla FTP Client
If you try to connect and login using userid and password, the connection is dropped when trying to retrieve directory listing, giving the error message: Failed to retrieve directory listing
This error can be resolved by changing the FTP mode from Passive to Active,
Open FileZilla
Go to Edit > Settings
Select FTP
On Right Hand side - Select Transfer mode as "Active"
Click Ok
Restart Filezilla
