How to Migrate from Wordpress.com to Wordpress.org
Migration from Wordpress.com to Wordpress.org only can migrate the existing articles/posts only. Themes and plugins cannot be migrated as it a restriction on Wordpress.com's end.
Here the step to Export and Import posts in .xml format
# EXPORT POST
Log in to the Old WordPress Dashboard.
Click the Tools tab from the side navigation menu to the left.
Select the Export from the sub-menu.
Locate and click the Download Export File button.
# IMPORT POST
Note: Before you begin, make sure WordPress is already installed on the domain.
Log in to the New WordPress Dashboard at the new domain name.
Click the Tools tab from the side navigation menu to the left.
Select the Import from the sub-menu.
Scroll down and click the link that says WordPress.
Click Browse and open the file that was exported.
Click the Upload file and import button.
Create or select the author for all posts.
Mark the checkbox for import file attachments.
The WordPress site has now been imported.
Take Note: Some larger sites require you to increase the PHP memory, upload size, and execution time. If you run into a memory issue importing a large file, please see How to Increase the PHP Memory Limit.
