How to Add and Install a WordPress Plugin
Note: We shall be using WordFence Security Plugin as an Example for this tutorial
First thing first, login to your Wordpress.
From your Dashboard, click on Plugins and then, click on Add New button to add a new plugins.
For example, I type "WordFence" in the search box. From the result returned, I just click on the 'Install Now' link to install the plugin of my choice.
The installation of the plugin is now begin. Once the installation has been completed, click on the Activate button to activate it.
Enter your desired email address to receive security threats warning generated by the WordFence plugin. You may also opt-in to their newsletter (optional) before pressing the Continue button. Click No Thanks to proceed using the free version of WordFence plugin.
To double confirm the plugin has been installed, click on Plugins > Installed Plugins. You shall see the WordFence Security plugin has been installed and activated successfully.
