Changing the Author of a WordPress Post or Page
When publishing content in WordPress, the content author is set to your user by default. However you may need to attribute the content to someone else e.g. the CEO or a guest blogger. This article tells you how to do so.
First, make sure that the Author options box is revealed. Click the Screen Options tab at the top right of the screen and make sure Author is selected.
Check the box for Author as seen below:
Once you're done, scroll down to the bottom of your post or page and make the switch of author. Remember to click on the Update button once you're done.
Login to your WordPress Dashboard and click on Post > All Post
Click on Quick Edit as shown on the screenshot.
You may switch the Author as seen below. Remember to click on the Update button before pressing on the Publish/Update button.
NOTE: The above examples show WordPress Post section. You may perform the same steps for WordPress Pages section.
Part 1.0: For WordPress 4.99 and Below
