Step-by-Step: How To Set Up Automatic (Recurring) Card Payments [Via CHIP]
Step-by-step Payment Guide:
Before You Begin: Make sure you have your payment card and phone (for bank OTP) ready, and access the invoice via a secure network.
- Log In: Visit the ServerFreak Client Area by navigating to https://secure.web-hosting.net.my/clients/index.php/login or by clicking the invoice link sent to your email.
- Locate the Invoice: Go to the Billing tab and select My Invoices to view all your invoices.
- Select Your Invoice: Click on the specific unpaid invoice you wish to settle by opening the invoice/payment link.
- Choose Your Payment Method: Select CHIP Credit Card from the list of payment options and click on “Pay With CHIP”.
- Proceed to Payment Page: On the CHIP payment interface, choose the “Card” option.
- Enter Payment Details: Provide your card number, expiry date, CVV, and fill in any required billing address fields (if any).
- Save Card for Recurring Payments: If you see an option like *"Remember my card for future purchases"*, tick it.
- Initiate Payment: Click the Pay Now button.
- Verify with 3-D Secure (OTP): Your bank will send a one-time password (OTP) to your phone or banking app. Enter it to confirm the initial transaction, this also sets up the recurring payment.
- Wait for Confirmation: After a successful payment, a confirmation page will appear.
- Card Details Security: CHIP creates a secure token linked to your card, allowing the merchant to charge future recurring payments without needing your full card details again.
