Step-by-Step: How To Set Up Automatic (Recurring) Card Payments [Via CHIP]

Step-by-step payment guide:


Before you start: have your payment card and your phone (for bank OTP) ready, and open the invoice link on a secure network.


  1. Log in: Go to Serverfreak Client Area Billing Account by visiting this link https://secure.web-hosting.net.my/clients/index.php/login or open the invoice link sent to your email.


  1. Find the invoice: Click on the Billing tab and select My Invoices to view your invoices. 



  1. Select an invoice: Choose the specific unpaid invoice you wish to pay. Open the invoice/payment link.


  1. Choose payment method: Select CHIP Credit Card from the payment method options. Click to "Pay With CHIP" button.




  1. Payment page: Choose “Card” on the CHIP payment page.
  2. Enter your card details: Card number, expiry date, CVV and fill any billing address fields the page asks for.


  1. Opt in to saving the card for future/recurring payments: If you see “Remember my card for future purchases”, please tick it.


  1. Initiate payment: Click the Pay Now button. 


  1. Complete 3-D Secure (OTP) when your bank sends it. Your bank will usually send a one-time password (OTP) to your phone or banking app to authenticate the initial transaction this also authorizes the recurring setup.


  1. Wait for payment confirmation: Once the payment succeeds you’ll see a confirmation page.


  1. CHIP stores a token linked to your card (a secure reference) so the merchant can charge future recurring amounts without you re-entering the full card details.
