# How to Upload a New Image for Blog Header

1. Login to **WordPress**

2. Click on **Appearance > Header** as seen below.

3. Scroll down to Header Image and click on **Add New Header** as seen below

4. You have two options to select your new Header Image. You can choose from **Upload Files** or taking the image from the existing images stored in **Media Library**. In this case, I shall use the **Upload Files** method. Please take note that the recommended header size is **2000 px x 1200 px**

Remember to **Select & Crop** the Image to your liking and then pressing the **Crop Image** button.



5.  Press the **Publish** button if you are satisfied with how your banner appears in your Blog Header.
