# How to Update WordPress Plugins and Themes

Keeping your WordPress plugins and themes updated is important for security, performance, and compatibility.


### How to Update WordPress Plugins


###### Step 1: Login to your WordPress Admin
1. Open your website admin URL. Example: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
2. Enter your username and password
3. Click Log In

###### Step 2: Check Available Plugin Updates
1. From the left menu, click Dashboard → Updates

2. Look under the Plugins section
3. You will see plugins that have updates available

###### Step 3: Update Plugins
1. Tick the checkbox
2. Click Updates Plugins


### How to Update WordPress Themes


###### Step 1: Check Theme Updates
1. Go to Dashboard → Updates
2. Scroll to the Themes section
3. Check if any theme updates are available
