# How to Update MX Record to Google Suite (G Suite)

1. Login into your cPanel,

2. Navigate to **Domains** section > **Zone Editor** menu:

3.  Click **Manage** next to your domain name.

4. Go to MX tab.

The default MX record for all hosted domains is mail.yourdomain.com :

5.  Since you wish to use G Suite, you need to remove existing MX records for your domain: 
Click the **delete** button.

Click the **"Continue"** button when you see the prompt: _Are you certain that you want to delete this record?_


6. Add a new **MX record**(s) using the **Add Record** button:

7. Enter **ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM** under "Destination". Type **1** under Priority section as shown below and press the **Add Record** button to save changes.

8. Add another MX record again by repeating step 6. Enter ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM with priority 5.

Click **Add Record** button.

9. Repeat step 6 to add the rest of the Google Mail Server and their priorities below:

| Destination: ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM           Priority: 10

|| Destination: ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM          Priority: 10

Click **Add Record** button to save changes.

10. Return to the main page of cPanel. This time go to **Email **section and click on **Email Routing** menu.

11. Click to **choose your domain name** from the dropdown box. Next, choose **Remote Mail Exchanger** and click **Change** to save changes.

That's all you need to know for setting up MX Record to G Suite! Your MX records are now configured to point to Google. Keep in mind that changes to MX records may take up to 48 hours to propagate throughout the Internet.
