# How to Uninstall Joomla Template

In this example, we are going to uninstall the GK_Music_Free template, which we have installed in the previous [template installation tutorial](https://help.serverfreak.com/en/article/how-to-install-joomla-template-1fn1lce/).
 
1. Login to your Joomla Administrator dashboard and click on **Extensions → Manage → Manage**

2. Type your template name into the search box and hit the enter button. Example: music

3. Tick the box and click on the **Uninstall** button to complete the template removal process.

4. You shall see the message "Uninstalling the template was successful."
