# How to start phpMyAdmin on Direct Admin Control Panel ?



|| NOTE: You need to create a MySQL database and username first before performing the following steps


1. Login to Direct Admin console and click on your target domain name.



2. Click on **MySQL Management**

3. Click on "phpMyAdmin"

4. Enter your database name and password to proceed when you see the prompt.
