# How to Setup Domain Parking in cPanel

### Definition:

**Parked domains** are used to point the new domain name to a different domain. To give an example, if we have "serverfreak.com" and we want "serverfreak.net" to display the same website, we'd set it up as a parked domain or alias.

1. Login to cPanel and click on **Aliases**

2. Enter the domain name you want to add, in the **Create a New Alias** section. Then click the **Add Domain** button.

3. You shall see the successful message " **You successfully created the alias, “XXXXXX.COM** ” .
