# How to Set the Correct Timezone for Your Joomla

1. Login to your Joomla Administrator dashboard and click on **System → Global Configuration**

2.  At the Global Configuration page, click on **Server** tab and then scroll down and look for Location Settings.

3. Click on the drop down box and search for your desired timezone e.g. _Kuala Lumpur_. Next press the **Save & Close** button to confirm changes.
