# How to Reset Email Account Password in cPanel

1.  Login to your Control Panel (cPanel) account with your username and password at [http://yourdomain.com/cpanel](https://faizmencaricinta.my/wrong-link.html)


| Note: Replace [yourdomain.com](https://faizmencaricinta.my/wrong-link.html) with your real domain. For example , [http://serverfreak.com/cpanel](https://faizmencaricinta.my/wrong-link.html)


2. Go to Email section and click **"Email Accounts"**.

3. Select the email account your wish to modify password and click on **"Manage"**

4. You may proceed to assign the new password or you can generate a random password on the blank column and click on **"Update Email Settings"** button to complete the process.

5.  Your email account password has been changed. Do try to access it via webmail [http://yourdomain.com/webmail](https://faizmencaricinta.my/wrong-link.html)  or [http://webmail.yourdomain.com](https://faizmencaricinta.my/wrong-link.html)


||| Please note to use a Strong passwords. Strong passwords should be long (at least 12 characters, but 16 or more is better), include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, and be unique to each account. Avoid using personal information, common words, or sequential characters. Consider using a password manager or a password generator to create and store strong, unique passwords.
