# How to Reset Cpanel Password via WHM

||  Applicable to Reseller hosting, Cloud server, VPS and Dedicated server plans

You can reset a Cpanel account password via WHM.

1. Login to WHM via **http://yourdomain.com/whm** (Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name)

2. Search for **Password Modification** on the search bar as shown below, and click on the **Password Modification** link:

3. Search for the **username** in the search bar as shown, select the user and enter the new password in the password fields and lastly click on the **Change Password** button
