# How to Install "Let's Encrypt" SSL Certificate in DirectAdmin

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to perform the actual installation for your target domain:

1. Login to your Direct Admin console and click on **Domain Setup**.

2. Click on the target domain you wish to apply the SSL Certificate and make sure that the **Secure SSL** box is checked.

3. Tick the Secure SSL.

4. Proceed to the User home page, then click on the target domain and follow by “SSL Certificates”

5. Follow as per diagram below and choose “Free & automatic certificate from Let’s Encrypt“.

      Enter your target domain name. 

      Make sure that only domain.com and www.domain.com is selected.

      Proceed to **Save**.

6. A successful installation process should appear as the following:

7.  You may use the website [whynopadlock.com](https://www.whynopadlock.com) to double check whether your website has been installed with "Let's Encrypt" ssl certificate.
