# How to Embed Video or Audio into WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg

1. Login to your WordPress dashboard and click on **Post > Add New**

2. Hover your mouse over to the blank page and click on **Add Youtube** icon.

3. Paste your Video URL source e.g. Youtube url and click on **Embed** button

Here is how your video appears in your WordPress post after clicking on the **Publish** button.

4.  To remove your embedded video, you just need to perform the following steps as highlighted in the screenshot.

5. To embed audio, you just need to click on the " + " button and type "audio" as seen below.

6. Click on either " **Upload** ", " **Media Library** " or " **Insert from URL** " to upload your audio file.

7.  Here's how your audio player appears on your blog after hitting the Publish button.
