# How to Delete a File Using File Manager

1. Login to cPanel and click on **File Manager.**

2. Double click on the target location whereby the targeted file is located e.g. public_html folder

3. Click on the file you wish to delete and press the **"Delete"** button as shown below:

4. A pop up will appear prompting for deletion. Press the **"Confirm"** button to confirm deletion.
