# How to Create Subdomain in Direct Admin Control Panel

1. Login to your Direct Admin Console and click on your target domain name.

2. Click on **Subdomain Management**.

3.   Enter your new subdomain details as shown in the sample below before pressing the **Create** button.

4. The new “subdomain” will be created, and it will appear in the Subdomain Names table.

|| **NOTES: A subfolder will be auto created under main folder, eg ../maindomain/public_html/subdomain**

**The creation of subdomain will normally take  1 to 2 hours to be propagated. **
