# How to Create Email Accounts in Direct Admin

1. Login to Direct Admin console and click on your target domain name.


2.  Under Email Management, click on **Email Accounts** as shown below.

3. Click on **Create mail accounts** and enter your new email account username, password, email quota. Remember to press the Create button.

4.  The control panel will return a page that looks like below:

**Note:** You cannot create a POP3 account if the username is taken by an autoresponder, forwarder, or mailing list.
