# How to Copy a File Using File Manager

1) Login to cPanel and click on **File Manager**

2) Double click on the target path whereby the file is located e.g. /public_html

3) Click once on the target filename e.g. _affsignup2.png_ and click on the **"Copy"** button.

4) A new pop up will appear that prompts you for the target location where you wish to place the copied file e.g. _affsignup2.png_

In this example, I'll enter "/public_html/tutorial/" as shown in the screenshot below.

Press the **Copy File(s)** button to confirm the copy.
