# How to Change Domain Name in Direct Admin

1. To replace domain name to a new domain name in DirectAdmin control panel, first log into user’s DirectAdmin control panel.


2. Select on the **Domain Setup**.

3. Then click on **Rename Domain**.

4.  Next, select the old domain name that you wish to change from the drop down menu, and replace the new domain name on the text box follow by clicking the “Change” button.

5. If everything is correct, the System will show the following message:
